A New Generation of Port Design

Terminal Schlutup represents a new generation of quay facilities, which has been developed in cooperation with the Swedish forest product industry using this port today.

Swedish forest products arrive regularly by vessel in the Schlutup port to be distributed to all parts of the continent. Due to the special requirements the terminal provides huge storage capacities and adequate equipment to handle the different kinds of cargo directly from the cassettes or via shed into wagons, trucks and containers. The operation concept has successfully proved itself. Close cooperation between client and terminal are a substantial prerequisite of a smooth workflow.
