Dangerous goods

Every year, more than 400,000 tons of dangerous goods are sent over the terminals . All categories of dangerous goods are handled here, except category 7 (radioactive goods). Care and safety are the most important aspects.

Together with the representative for dangerous goods and other trained staffing, all is done to conduct these transports according to the requirements. Even for the handling of dangerous goods of category 1 (explosives), specially authorized personnel are available.

In order to conduct safe and qualified transports of dangerous goods, regular schoolings are a standard. The quality- and environment management of the Luebecker Hafen-Gesellschaft mbH is certified in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001 and 14001.

All terminals are equipped with special facilities to prevent damages to the environment.
